Quotes: Duck, Henlan overjoyed Randy Duck, perhaps the talisman for Towers late season improvement, was one happy man after his team's Wembley success.
"We came here and we did what we knew we could do. All the guys came together at the end of the season. I think we won something like 9 out of the last 11. We were the best team coming up to this point.
"No-one really believed in the abilities that these guys actually had and we came out and proved everybody wrong."
For Martin Henlan, a return to the last game stage on his return to Towers after his Greek exile was a bonus. "It was definitely a physically challenging game. I'm just glad that the Tigers bothered me under the glass which made it open up for Malcolm, Danny and Randy just to get busy. I love it like that.
"We were a little bit tense at the start of the game. Defensively, in the second half, we really picked it up. We were trying to beat them with our offensive skills. I think, maybe, we were a little over confident at the start of the game. We settled down, got into a bit of a groove and, once we got onto a roll, it was over."
Once again the man to hoist the glass trophy above his head was the Towers' veteran captain Roger Duhaney. He praised his team mates for their persistence under pressure.
"We stuck together as a team. In the first half, things weren't
going our way and we just kept on working and we knew sooner or later they were going to break down and in the second half it did show."
